One of the most familiar faces in XCAT, Abdullatif Al Omani has been competing in the Championship since its inception in 2010 and has not missed a single season, proudly flying the flag of Kuwait on the international stage aboard his team’s boat.
An experienced competitor who previously raced in UIM Offshore Class II, Al Omani has also been a key figure in developing powerboating in Kuwait through the Kuwait Sea Sports Club.
Abdullatif recently made the switch from a Victory hull to an all-new Fazza hull and will be aiming for podium finishes this season alongside driver Khaled Ali.

Khaled Ali joined the Kuwait team in 2024 for the Palermo GP in Italy, taking his place in the driver’s seat alongside throttleman and team owner Abdullatif Al Omani.
Now holding a full UIM Offshore XCAT Superlicence, Khaled aims to build on his new partnership with Abdullatif and get the most out of the team’s new Fazza hull.
Before stepping into XCAT racing, Khaled found success in the Kuwait Powerboat Championship, winning national titles in both the S and B classes. Internationally, he achieved podium finishes in the demanding Pleasure Navigation Endurance rounds held in Como, Italy, and Blankenberge, Belgium, in 2023.
